He's My Master

Set in modern-day Japan, this anime follows the events in the lives of a couple of girls that have run away from home. Izumi and Mitsuki Sawatari decided to leave their home, because their parents wouldn't allow their pet alligator, Pochi, to live with them after discovering Mitsuki had been hiding him.

Out on their own, Izumi and Mitsuki needed to find jobs, and being so young (14 and 13 respectively), nobody would hire them. That is until they came to a huge mansion with a notice out front. The owner was in need of live in help, and since the girls also needed a place to live, it seemed perfect. When Izumi discovered that Yoshitaka Nakabayashi, the teenaged owner of the massive estate, was a selfish, lecherous low-life, she refused the job offer. At least she tried to, but when Pochi escaped and ran amok in the mansion, many valuables were broken and the girls really had no choice but to take the job and serve as Yoshitaka's maids to pay back their debts.

He is My Master is a wild, fast-paced comedy with a heavy dose of fan service. The characters are well designed and likable, although the male characters have very similar personalities. The writing is quite funny, if a little inconsistent, the music is also pretty good, and the animation style is the usual greatness from GAINAX, often exaggerated, but with occasional subtleties, and overall it's a very fun show. It would be rated somewhere between heavy PG-13 and light R, for a bit of language and violence, and many sexy situations. Now, the cosplay....
